EXERCISE #1
   Dominant Lead Study. This exercise is played over a I-IV progression and has a chicken pickin’ approach to the right hand technique. Measures 1 + 2 use notes from the Mixolydian mode while measures 3 + 4 use partial chords.

EXERCISE #2
   Interval Study. This exercise uses the Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, 5th and Major 6th intervals, pivoting to each interval from the tonic of each key. Play along with the audio files to improve your performance skills as fingerstyle guitarist.

EXERCISE #3
   Study Using Partial Chords. This selection is played over a Latin style rhythm section. Chords used through-out this piece consist of smaller, melody voicings and are played over a I-IV progression.

EXERCISE #4
   Dominant Chord Study. This exercise uses the Dominant 7th, 9th and Major triad to play over this I-IV progression. Use this as a rhythm study and play along with the backing tracks.

EXERCISE #5
   Syncopated Rhythm Study. Use this exercise to improve your overall rhythmic ability. With emphasis on the off-beat, you will be playing over a I-IV-bIII-bVII progression using partial Major chords. The rhythm section is playing in a Latin style and consists of bass and drums. This will help you become an articulate player.

EXERCISE #6
   Rhythmic Study using 6th and 9th Chords. This exercise uses a percussive right hand and will help you become a solid rhythmic player. Play along with audio files to improve your performance ability and knowledge of 6th and 9th chords.

EXERCISE #7
    Major and Sus 4 Chord Study. This legato exercise is similar to exercise 2 and will help you further develop your knowledge of the Major 3rd and Perfect 4th intervals.

EXERCISE #8
   Arpeggio Study. This fast exercise will help you build endurance and great technique using Triads in the root and 2nd inversion. Audio files consist of only drums, focus on solid meter and technique.
