DESIGN LESSON #1

This lesson includes a detailed look at Triad and Interval construction along with studies that will help you become a strong reader with a sense of dynamics. Etudes, Scales and a Classical Duet are also included. The audio files provided will allow you to play along with each part of the duet individually. This Lesson includes 12 pages of sheet music and 27 mp3 files.

INTERVAL STUDIES
Play along with audio files while studying the Intervals of C Major. This lesson includes 4 exercises studying 3rds, 5ths and Triads. Perform with the 1st exercise playing the intervals of the C Major Scale.

READING STUDIES
These Studies consist of 8 short melodies. Play along with the recordings to improve your reading ability and become a dynamic player. C Major Study #1 includes a written assignment where you will identify intervals used per measure.

CHROMATIC STUDY
This study includes 4 chromatic exercises that can be used as finger drills and chops builders. Practice at various tempos to improve your technical ability.

ETUDES/TRIADS
Three melodic Etudes in the key of C Major. Practice these Etudes to increase your endurance and tone. Also included is a study of Triads and Walk Lines that will introduce you to Jazz and Latin styles.

CLASSICAL DUET
Play along with this movement from the Sonata In C. Allegro is a piece in C Major that will help your performance ability. Three audio files are provided. Play along with each part, focus on articulation and dynamics. It’s fun to practice.
